Once again it is time for Kwa-Zulu Natal to hosts its annual international race - Comrades Marathon. The Comrades Marathon is known as an ultramarathon with its participants running an 89 Kilometers route between Durban and Pietermaritzburg. The marathon is known for being the world's largest and oldest ultramarathon and attracts runners from all across the world. The atmosphere is exciting with local residents showing their support and encouragement to the runners, often with music, clapping and even high energy fruit.  The expected road closure and open times are Kloof (5am - 10am), Hillcrest (5:30am - 11am) and Botha's Hill (5:40am - 11:30am)

Good luck to everyone who is taking part in the race!
